I have noted that Indiana and Michigan Power Company has made appl ica-tion for an expansion of the Spent Fuel storage capacity from 500 to 2050 fuel assembl i es at the Donald C.Cook Plant Unit Numbers 1 and 2 (Docket Nos.50-31 5 and 50-31 6).The fol 1 owing correspondence i s in my possession:

an Indiana and Michigan letter to you of November 22, 1978 with attachment 1,"Description and Safety Analysis for the Spent Fuel Storage Capacity Expansion Program", and an Indiana 8 Michigan letter to you of January 24, 1979 with additional information.
