In the last three tests the cingging phase toward the ord of the blowdom has been incitaSed. In these tests the blowdown is controlled by means of valves startirg at high flow rate which, toward the ord of the transient, are IMM by mams of closirs the valve e nlly. Ttus the tests still duplicate the originally planned ness flowrates, even grepurginJ, but in aidition simlate the tail-off of .

A further test feature puiw by the W. German rugresentative was -

to install a separate cylindrical partition arcurd a single vent.

This test is to be parfacasd in conjunctico with a test where a group of 29 dowr-- +s is enclosed in a sesparata pool partion, the remaininJ 28 being closed off. A test of this kind is of interest since it providels a direct conmarisco betseen sirugle an! mitiple vent aparation under idenHm1 flow conditions. The project has i incorporated this feature by means of insullirn a cylinder of 0.9 m dimeter canonntrim11y arcurd the reference vent. This cylinder antards verHm11y upward to 5 m below the original water surface.

The relicactive tracer meas 2rnent in the vent chanmla is not planned for blowdown 25. This decision came about due to a septrate acresnent betwnen the Troject manngawit and TK managnunt. Saveral TPC r.wrbers, especially the German member were rot in agreement with this decision ard, plan to refer the matter to tle project bcard far consideration at their meetinJ on October 20, 1976.
