Dear Chairman Jackson:

I would like to voice my opinion on the millstone nuclear power plant and how and why it should be shut down because of Long Island.

We are fortunate to live on this beautiful island with great beaches. .

There is one problem though, there is no evacuation plan for this island l that we live on. I First of all I don't like the whole idea of nuclear power plants. I have a list of reasons why I don't like this plant. In January the power plant goes on the list of nations worst run power plants in the world. The state fond over 100 unlicensed contractors working on Millstone. N.R.C fines them 650,000 for safety reasons. Also the states sue them for a million dollars for violations of clean water rules and N.R.C sues again l for not meeting safety reasons. I Long Island is at risk of a nuclear disaster because it has no evacuation plan! It has no evacuation plan because the whole island is surrounded by water. Which would make gridlock on the long island

- expressway the only way off the island. l Thank you for your time Ms. Jackson. I think this is a major issue l and I Don't want to have my future destroyed. We are 10 miles away i from the plant I want to keep my future here and raise my kids. This is  !

important to me and others. Thanks, l ALEX BLUEDORN
