Dear Judge Morgulies:

I live in south Charlotte.

I have studied the implementation of an emergency planning zone for the south / southwest City of Charlotte. I have also discussed this ,

matter with several of my neighbors.

Please be advised that we agree with Duke Power Company in that the southwest / south portion of Charlotte should NOT be included in the emergency planning zone for the Catawba Nuclear Plant.

We understand that an organization called the Carolina Environ-mental Study Group suggests that all of south / southwest Charlotte be included in the EPZ. We find no reason for that group's recommendation.

In closing, please be assured that the undersigned nor those he conferred with have any connection whatsoever with ; .ke Power Company except that we attempt to pay our utility bills on time.
