APPLICANTS' RESPONSE TO "LYNN CHONG et al and CO-OP MEMBERS FOR RESPONSIBLE INVESTMENT'S RENENED CONTENTIONS - MAY 25, 1982" Under date of May 25, 1982, the Co-op Members for Responsible Investment (CMRI) filed a document setting out

" Renewed Contentions".

When CMRI's original petition was filed, the Applicants' answered in substance that it should be denied because no sufficient " interest" had been alleged. The new filing of May 25, 1982 makes no effort to overcome this deficiency.

Indeed, not even one additional " interest" allegation is set out in the documents.

• CONCLUSION On the basis of the reasoning set out in the Applicants' Answer to CRRI's original petition filed under date of December 1, 1981, the Applicants say that the Petition of CMRI should be denied.
