Description of Deficiency Welding inspector. completed visual inspection records for~ welds of structural: steel annulus floor framing before the welds had been
- made.
Interim-Progress TVA is. invalidating those records co=pleted improperly and reinspecting the'affected, welds. IVA has reinstructed all inspectors on the importance. H of properly co=pleting QC' inspection records for the. inspections they have made.
-The investigation is proceeding; and approxi=ately 300 structural welds-have been checked to date.

Of those welds checked, the situation as described by the deficiency appears to be an isolated case confined to the inspector involved.
