Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.82 (a) (1) (i), Southern California Edison (SCE) hereby certifies that it has pe.rmanently ceased power operation of the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station, Units 2 and 3 effective June 7, 2013.On that date, SCE publicly announced its decision to permanently shut down both Unit 2 and Unit 3 and filed its announcement with Securities and Exchange Commission on Form 8-K, pursuant to the requirements of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.There are no new commitments contained in this letter.If you have any questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact Mr. Mark E.
