UPDATED INSPECTION PLAN FOR DRESDEN NUCLEAR POWER STATION , UNIT S 2 AND 3 (REPORT 05000237/201 7005 AND 05000249/201 7005)

Dear Mr. Hanson

The enclosed inspection plan lists the inspections scheduled through June 30 , 20 19 for Dresden Nuclear Power Station

. The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)

provides the inspection plan to allow for the resolution of any scheduling conflicts and personnel availability issue Routine inspections performed by resident inspectors are not included in the inspection pla The inspections listed during the last twelve months of the inspection plan are tentative and may be revise The NRC will contact you as soon as possible to discuss changes to the inspection plan should circumstances warrant any change This inspection plan does not include the plan for security-related inspections, which will be sent via separate, non-publicly available correspondenc NRC inspectors will be performing Temporary Instruction 2515/191, "Inspection of the Implementation of Mitigation Strategies and Spent Fuel Pool Instrumentation Orders and Emergency Preparedness Communication/Staffing/Multi-Unit Dose Assessment Plans," at your site from November 27, 2017

, until December 1, 201 In March 2018 NRC inspectors will review your design basis using inspection procedure 711121M, "Design Bases Assurance Inspection (Teams)."

In addition Phase 4 of Post-Approval License Renewal inspection will be performed from February 25, 2019

, until March 1, 20 19 , in accordance with Inspection Procedure 71003, "Post-Approval Site Inspection for License Renewal
