, and enforcement actions from January 1, 20 16 , through December 31, 20 1 This letter informs you of the NRC's assessment of your facility during this period and its plans for future inspections at your facilit The NRC concluded that overall performance at your facility preserved public health and safet The NRC determined the performance at Perry Nuclear Power Plant, Unit 1, during the most recent quarter was within the Licensee Response Column, the highest performance category of the NRC

-2- From January 1 to December 31, 20 16, the NRC issued four Severity Level IV traditional enforcement violations associated with impeding the regulatory proces Therefore, the NRC plans to conduct Inspection Procedure 92723 , "Follow Up Inspection for Three or More Severity IV Traditional Enforcement Violations in the Same Area in a 12-Month Period" to follow-up on these violation The purpose of this inspection is to ensure that the causes of the group of violations are understood and that the extent of condition was adequately evaluate We have not yet identified when we wil l start this inspectio In accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) 2.390 of the NRC
