Dear Chairman Ahearne:

After the attached letter was written, NAEC learned of new and additional problems in the *steam generator for North Anna Unit #1 (discovered after a janitor's mop accidentally caused the reactor to scram earlier this week). Thus we would amend our request #1 on page 3 of the 2-18-80 letter enclosed to read: 1. (The Coalition hereby asks the Commissioners to) Keep North Anna #1 out of service ing resolution of the noise problem in steam generators A & B, restoration of normal sec-. ondary chemistry, installation of steam erator inspection port now as opposed to 1981, inspection for turbine cracks, and installation of redesigned valves in the non-functioning Powdex demineralizer, proscribing restart until satisfactory spill-proof test results are shown. Thank, you for your professional interest and attention.
