Subject:

Holtec International HI-STORM FW Multipurpose Canister Storage System Amendment Request 1032-7

Reference:

[1] Holtec Letter 5018079, Holtec International HI-STORM FW Amendment 7, to A. Kock (NRC) from K. Manzione (Holtec), dated August 12, 2020.

Dear Ms. Kock:

Holtec International previously submitted an amendment request for the HI-STORM FW system

[Ref. 1], which was intended to license a new design of the HI-STORM FW overpack. After additional internal discussions, it was determined that improvements could be made in the design to even better meet client needs. Therefore, Holtec requests to withdraw the amendment request submitted in [Ref 1] in its entirety, and will submit an updated version in the near future.

We appreciate the staffs responsiveness to that amendment and look forward to future interactions.

Please contact at me (856) 797-0900 ext. 3951 if you have any questions.

Sincerely, Kimberly Manzione Document ID 5018080 Page 1 of 2
