U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission One White Flint North 11555 Rockville Pike, Room 014B08 Rockville, Maryland PURPOSE: The purpose of the meeting between Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon, the licensee), and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR) staff is to discuss remaining issues identified during NRC staff review of the Three Mile Island, Unit 1 License Amendment Request regarding a planned upgrade of the Control Rod Drive Control System. Specifically, the meeting will discuss the planned use of a reactor trip breaker design that incorporates a microcontroller, as detailed in a recent NRC request for additional information transmitted to the licensee on October 9, 2009 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML092860144).

CATEGORY 1:* This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
