On July 24, 20 13, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a n inspection at your Columbia Generating Station using Temporary Instruction 2515/186, "Inspection of Procedures and Processes for Responding to Potential Aircraft Threat s." The enclosed inspection report documents the results of the inspection, which were discussed during an exit meeting on July 24 , 2013 , with members of your staff.


The objective of this inspection was to assess the implementation procedures and processes of y our Columbia Generating Station that are required by Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 50.54(hh)(1), which provides the requirements for responding to a potential aircraft threat.

The results from this inspection, along with the results from this inspection performed at other operating commercial nuclear plants in the United States
