OF CHANGES AND ANALYSIS FOR REVISION 41 OF PLANT PROCEDURES MANUAL 13.8.1 EMERGENCY DOSE PROJECTION SYSTEM OPERATIONS

Dear Sir or Madam:

Enclosed is the summary of changes and analysis for Revision 41 of Plant Procedures Manual (PPM) 13.8.1, Emergency Dose Projection System Operations, issued on May 25, 2023. The changes to the PPM have been evaluated in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q) and 10 CFR 72.44(f). The PPM, as revised, continues to meet the standards of 10 CFR 50.47(b) and the requirements of 10 CFR 50 Appendix E. The Enclosure contains a summary of changes and evaluations performed. Each change was evaluated in accordance with the station's 10 CFR 50.54(q) evaluation process. These changes do not create a reduction in effectiveness of the approved emergency plan.

GO2-23-070 Enclosure Page 1 of 1 Summary of Changes and Analysis Revision 41 to Plant Procedure Manual (PPM) 13.8.1, Emergency Dose Projection System Operations, was made to improve clarity and usability. Changes made as follows:

1. Pages 14, 18,31 & 33; Revised date of last refueling shutdown to 5/5/23.

2. Page 31; Revised Note for guidance on SGT Carbon Filter Inlet moisture.

3. Page 32; Added Note to include guidance on a loss of SM-8 and SM-7 and which eDNA points to use.

4. Page 32 Removed Note regarding performing additional calculations.

5. Page 33; Revised Note for guidance on SGT Carbon Filter Inlet moisture.

6. Page 34; Revised Note to include guidance on a loss of SM-8 and SM-7 and which eDNA points to use.

These changes do not reduce the effectiveness of the Emergency Plan and the plan continues to meet the requirements in appendix §50 Appendix E and the planning standards of§ 50.47(b)(9) and RG 1.219.

These changes do not represent a negative impact to either timeliness or capability, therefore there is no reduction in effectiveness to implement the Emergency Plan.
