Purpose:

The NRC requested an Annual Assessment Meeting with PPL to discuss the NRCs assessment of the safety performance of the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station for calendar year 2007. The NRCs assessment is documented in a letter dated March 3, 2008.

Smith, General Manager, Site Preparedness and Services Public Participation: This is a Category 1 Meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion, but before the meeting is adjourned.
