SUBJECT:

CRGR MEETING NO. 138 The Comittee to Review Generic Requirements (CRGR) will meet in the afternoon on Tuesday, June 14, 1988 in Room 6B11 WF. The agenda is as follows:

1-2 p.m. C. E. Rossi, NRR will present for CRGR review a proposed NRC Bulletin on Power Oscillations in the LaSalle reactor. The EDO has '

requested expedited handling of this matter. (Review material will be sent directly i.o CRGR members by NRR.)

2-3 p.m. C. E. Rossi, NRR will present for CRGR review a proposed NRC Bulletin on Degradation of Flange Material at Shearon Harris. This is a follow-up to a matter previously considered by the Comittee, i.e., the PSI Inc. materials fraud issue. The EDO has requested expedited handling of this matter. (Review material will be distributed directly to CRGR members by NRR.)

3-4 p.m. The Committee will complete their review of the proposed draft rule on Site Permits, Design Certification, and Combined Licenses begun at Meeting No. 137. (No additional review material will be distributed.)

If a CRGR member cannot attend the meeting, it is his responsibility to assure that an alternate, who is approved by the CRGR Chairman, attends the meeting.

Persons making presentations to the CRGR are responsible for (1) assuring that the n. formation re Charter IV.B), (2) quired for CRGR coordinating review is provided and presenting views of to theoffices, other Comittee(3) (CRGR as appropriate, assuring that other offices are represented during the presenta-tion, and (4) assuring that agenda modifications are coordinated with the CRGR contact (J. Unran X24464) and others involved with the presentation.

Division Directors or higher management should attend meetings addressing agenda items under their purview.
