INSERVICE INSPECTION ACTIVITIES THIRD REFUELING OUTAGE HOPE CREEK GENERATING STATION DOCKET NO. 50-354 Public Service Electric & Gas Company (PSE&G) hereby submits a summary of the inspections and tests to be performed by the Hope Creek Inservice Inspection group during the Third Refueling Outage. Included is an approximate schedule for these 1 activities.

The activities are in accordance with the Hope Creek Long Term Plan for the'first examination of the second period.

- Four (4) Category B-A Welds

- Thirty (30) Category B-D Welds

- Nineteen (19) Category B-F Welds

- Twenty-Two (22) Category B-J Welds Six (6) NU.TEG 0619 Welds In addition, there will be nineteen (19) liquid penetrant and twenty-two (2.1) magnetic particle examinations performed.

2. HOPE' CREEK TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

- Functional testing of one hundred thirty-three (133) mechanical and hydraulic snubbers

3. 10 CFR APPENDIX J - HOPE CREEK TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

- One hundred seventy-five (175) Type "C" and fifty-four (54) Type "B" tests

4. .ASME SECTION XI - HOPE CREEK TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

- One thousand one hundred eighty'six (186) snubber visual exams

- Eight hundred-(800) component support visual examinations on Class I, II, and III Systems NOTE: The above examinations are subject to change.
