In accordance with 10 CFR 50.74, GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas, LLC (GEH) hereby provides notification of changes in a licensed operator status for the NTR (Reference 1 ).

Dear Sir or Madam:

In accordance with 10 CFR 50.74, GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas, LLC (GEH) hereby provides notification of changes in a licensed operator status for the NTR (Reference 1 ).

On December 21, 2023, NTR permanently ceased reactor operations in preparation for NRC license transfers. On February 28, 2024, the NRC issued Amendment 26 to Facility Operating License No R-33 authorizing possession-only of the reactor and fuel.

The updated Technical Specifications replace the requirement for NRG-licensed reactor operators with certified fuel handlers. As a result, on March 28, 2024 the individuals holding the three current NTR reactor operator licenses listed below were permanently reassigned.
