In letter dated October 13, 1983 Alabama Power Company requested Technical Specification changes to incorporate a slightly positive moderator temperature coefficient (MTC) at low power levels and an increased enthalpy hot channel factor (F Delta H) limit below full power. These changes were approved by the NRC in Amendment No. 37 and Amendment No. 27 for Units 1 and 2 respectively.
