DOW CHEMICAL COMPANY TRIGA RESEARCH REACTOR DOCKET NO. 50-264 i

1. On figure 6.1 of your proposed technical specifications (TSs) please indicate who is the individual responsible for the reactor facility's licenses or charter (i.e.. unit or '

organizational head equivalent to level 1 in ANSI /ANS 15.1-1990). the individual responsible for reactor facility operation (i.e. equivalent to level 2 in ANSI /ANS 15.1) and the individual responsible for day-to-day operation of the reactor (i.e.. i equivalent to level 3 in ANSI /ANS 15.1). ,

2. Please show on figure 6.1 of your proposed TSs the reporting line for the Reactor Operations Committee (ROC). This type of committee normally reports to level 1 management and the members of the committee are normally appointed by level 1 management. Please justify the reporting line of the ROC.

3. In your proposed TSs is the radiation safety function for the reactor provided by the Radiation Safety Officer? If not, please state who in the organization provides this function. The organizational chart should show a communication line between the radiation safety function and level 3 management and a reporting line between the radiation safety function and level 1 management.
