In order to maximize the utilization of resources allocated to Region III for' administration of examinations to candidates for licenses to operate nuclear facilities, we are scheduling a meeting to discuss the scheduling problems associated with the examination process.

In addition, since all facilities now have copies of the Examiner Standards (NUREG-1021) we will take this opportunity to discuss some aspects of several of the standards.

The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday January 11, 1984, at the Holiday Inn-O' Hare, 3801 Mannheim Road, Shiller Park, Illinois and will begin at 9:00 a.m.

A preliminary agenda is attached. We request that your attendance be restricted to two persons. At least one of your representatives should be from your training organization. Please provide us with the names of your attendees and any additional subjects that you believe should be considered for discussion by December 19, 1983.
