On June 26, 2007, the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission completed an inspectionat your Hope Creek Generating Station. The enclosed inspection report documents the inspection results which were discussed on June 27, 2007, with Mr. Hal Trimble and other members of your staff.This inspection examined activities conducted under your license as they relate to safety,common defense and security, and compliance with NRC Orders related to the transportation of radioactive material and the handling of safeguards information. The inspection was based upon Temporary Instruction (TI) 2201/001 - Inspection of Additional Security Measures for Radioactive Material Quantities of Concern (RAMQC). The inspectors reviewed selected procedures and records, observed activities, and interviewed personnel.Based on the results of this inspection, no violations were identified. No reply to this letter isrequired.In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter, itsenclosure, and your response (if any) will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component for the NRC's document system (ADAMS).
