SUMMARY

Shoreham Nuclear Power Station - Unit 1 Docket No. 50-322

Dear Mr. Denton:

On several occasions, LILCO has discussed its plans for instal-lation of three " Colt-Pielstick PC 2.5V Engine" diesel generators at Shoreham with your staff. LILCO believes it is now appropriate to give you formal notification of our plans.

Thus, the attached report entitled " Colt Diesel Generator Summary" is hereby transmitted for your use and information. The Colt effort is presently 95 percent engineering complete and construction has commenced. This project is now scheduled for completion in May, 1985.

If you have any questions or require additional information concerning the Colt diesel generator project, please contact this office.
