Revised Response to NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2017-03, "Preparation and Scheduling of Operator License Examinations" On April 5, 2017, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission issued Regulatory Issue Summary (RIS) 2017-03, "Preparation and Scheduling of Operator Licensing Examinations." The RIS requested the voluntary submittal of information on future operator licensing examinations for the Calendar Years (CY) 2019 through 2022, via Form 536, "Operator Licensing Examination Data."

Duke Energy response letter dated May 3, 2017, "Response to NRC Regulatory Issue Summary 2017-03, Preparation and Scheduling of Operator License Examinations" (ML17123A246), identified two licensee-prepared examinations in CY 2019 at Oconee Nuclear Station. This letter revises the response for Oconee Nuclear Station:

  • There will not be an operator licensing examination on March 18, 2019, (alternate date: March 25, 2019) as previously reported. There is only one operator licensing examination in 2019, scheduled for December 2, 2019, (alternate date:

December 9, 2019).
