By Reference 1, STP Nuclear Operating Company (STPNOC) submitted an application to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) for the renewal of Facility Operating Licenses NPF-76 and NPF-80, for South Texas Project (STP) Units 1 and 2, respectively. In Reference 2, the NRC made a request for additional information with a submittal date of January 4, 2017.

STPNOC is requesting an extension to provide the responses to the request for additional information by January 12, 2017.

There are no regulatory commitments in this letter.
