The Tennessee Talley Authority construction permit application was docketed on November 7, 1975. We are propostas few your approval, a CF stase beslth and safety review schedule that meets our 14 meeth objective for i M ag the final (after ACRS) SER supplement. The proposed schedule facindes October 4,1976 as the data for issuing the SER with a final SER supplement scheduled for January 10, 1977.

i The standard delta of 160 days between the final SEE supplement and i

an ASLB decision results in a prospective decision date of June 19, 1977. Spesific dates for all of the latermediate milestemas are provided la amelaeures 1 & 2.

l Too should note that the proposed prospective deeistem date is appese-imately 2 months later than the April 1, 1977 date that the applicant desires a construction permit. Since our proposed schedule is based on a contested hearing, we believe that it may be possibla to satisfy I

the applicant's reguast and modify the schedule after the A8LB has ruled on any proposed petitionsi for leave to intervene. Since the plant is a standard GESSAR-238 EUR-6/ Mark III, we should be able to L

improve on this schedule if we do not encounter difficult site related problems.

4 A schedule for the envirowntal review is not being proposed for your approval at this time because the applicant will not file the environ-mental report until January 1976. The applicant has indicated that an LWA will mot be needed u til about March 1977.
