Dear Mr. Gismbusso,

Your letter of March 7, 1975 requested that to assist you in planning your future workload, we. verify our current plans for application submittals between now and the begining of Fiscal Year 1978.

Our company's recent load forecast projections have, as you know in part resulted in the deferral of the commercial op-eration of our Douglas Point Nuclear Generatiing Station Units 1 and 2 to 1985 and 1987, respectively.

With this deferral, these units are at present crucial to our plans for meeting our customers' electric erlergy requirements in that time period.

Accordingly, our efforts will be concentrated on pursuing those applications, through the remainder of the regulatory licensing process from their present " draft SER" stage.

Therefore, in response to your March 7 letter, we have no cur-rent plans to submit new at,plications between now and the be-gining of Fiscal Year 1978.
