Dear Dr. Morris:

Pursuant to the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 as amended, and the Commission's Rules and Regulations issued thereunder, Long Island Lighting Company hereby supplements and amends its license application filed May 15, 1968 in the aforesaid~ Docket.

In response to the letter of June 12, 1968 the Atomic Energy Commission is advised that:

Long Island Lighting Company requests that the dates October 1, 1972 and May 1, 1973 be considered as the earliest and latest dates for completion of construction of Shoreham Nuclear Power Station Unit 1.
