The Duke Power Company Construction Assessment Team has completed their review of the Detroit Edison response to the recomendations included in the team's "Femi II - Final Assessment of Construction Report". The coments and conclusions of the team are attached.

This review was completed with substantially less manhours than authorized by Don Metcalf.

COMMENTS ON DETROIT EDISON'S RESPONSE TO THE RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE DUKE POWER COMPANY REPORT FERMI II - FINAL ASSESSMENT OF CONSTRUCTION ,,

Members of the Duke Power Company Construction Assessment team perfonned a review of the Detroit Edison Company response to the.recomendations included in the Fermi II Final Assessment of Construction report completed by the team in July 1984. The following are the team's coments and conclusions.

Coment-Recomendation 7:

No reference was made to the honeycomb concrete identified around one of the watertight doors. Since this item received some visibility during the assessment and is mentioned in the report, it is recomended that Detroit Edison address this in the response.

Conclusion With the exception of the coment on Recomendation 7, all Detroit Edison Co.

responses properly address the concerns expressed in the recomendations contained in the Fermi II Final Assessment of Construction Final Report.
