I'm enclosing an ad which ran in today's San Luis Obispo Telegram Tribune.
I do so because I thought it better that you hear from me than from some othe'r source that; 1) I engaged in civil disobedience on February 11 (partly because of my concerns over the Diablo emergency plan) and spent four days in jail for ny act and;,2) that I gave sqy reasons for so acting in the attached ad.
I don't expect you to agree with me. But, as I said, I thought that in the interest of an open and honest relationship you should be informed of these facts by me.
As I mentioned on the phone, I look forward to informally meeting with you when you're down this way. Here's hoping you're making progress in persuad-ing other officials to meet with private parties.down here, on the emergency plan.
