For Continuation of Hearine On Emergency Planning Contentions The Town of Kensington supports the Motion filed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on June 30, 1996 and in support states the following: .

1. In regards to FEMA's " reason" 1: Kensington concurs that the the version of the NHRERP now in litiration is not the operative one as FEMA states in the Motion. However Kensington is of .the understanding that contentions filed by Kensington based on this version are not resolved, imy oved or eliminated from litigation. l

2. Based on the above Kensington finds no reason that

" litigating the earlier version may be counterproductive to the efficient. l resolution of the offsite emergency preparedness issues at Seabrook" as i stated by FEMA in the Motion. l l

For the above reasons Kensington supports FEMA's Motion.  !
