Where cable tray, cable or other electrical equipment is covered or coated, the documentation initiated by the original inspections shall be sufficient.
Discrepancies noted during the Post Construction Verification Walkdown shall be documented on Attachment 1.
After all discrepancies' noted on Attachment have been resolved, they shall be reinspected and documented on an Inspection Report, Attachment 2 and/or 3.
In addition, the QC Inspector shall attach the applicable punchlist to i
the Inspection Report.
3.1 POST CONSTRUCTION VERIFICATION 3.1.1 Verify Cable Tray The QC Inspector shall perform a visual inspection of all
=
raceways to ensure that the trays are free of damage. Damage inspections shall consist of.. but are not limited' to, the following:
a.
Cable tray shall be free. of burrs, rough edges, or foreign material, b.
Damage to Galvanized surfaces is to be repaired by application of Galvanox or similar approved product.
c.
Proper workmanship has prevailed to ensure over-all quality product free of surface damage, warpage, cent side rails, etc.
d.
All cable pulling aids have been removed (i.e., rollers fish tape, tape rope, etc.).
3.1.2 Verify Conduit The QC Inspector shall perfonn a visual inspection, to the maximum extent possible without disassembly, of conduit raceways to ensure conduit is free from da' mage.

Conduit bends shall not show excessive flattening or Interruption of the smooth bore of the conduit.
4 l
NOTE:
Excessive flattening is defined as that amount of flattening which reduces the conduit outside diameter by 251.
c.
Damage to Galvanized surfaces shall be repaired with Galvanox or an engineering approved equal.
d.
Bushings, fittings, and hardware shall be in place and secure.
e.
All cable pulling aids have been removed (i.e. fish tape, tape rope, etc.).
f.
Conduit cover, junction box, pull box and termination box covers and gaskets have been installed.
i 3.1.3 Verify Cable Installation The QC Inspector shall perfonn a visual inspection of cable installations to ensure cables are free of damage.
This inspection shall consist of, but is not limited to, the following:
a.
Cables shall be free fras damage and debris, b.
Cable bend radii have not been violated.
c.
Cables are trained and. properly secured with cable ties, d.
Power cable spacing has been maintained in accordance with Reference 1-8.
e.
Cable slack of 2 inch minimum is provided at transition points between cable tray sections at different elevations and at conduit entries to cable trays and between category I structures.
f.
Cable installed in trays shall be below side rails.
3.1.4 Verify Equipment Installation I
The QC Inspector shall perform a visual inspection to ensure I
