SUBJECT:

CALL FROM DON DAVIS: TUEC REVIEW TEAM STAFF On February 5, 1985, Don Davis called to discuss the attitudes of Comanche Peak site personnel. Specifically, Don wanted to know if there were management personnel onsite that should oe replaced, and if so, would I identify them.

I told him that it appeared to me that many of the problems at Comahce Peak could be the result of harsh / heavy-handed management styles, but that I would not name any individuals. This did not surprise him and as he pressed the point, I suggested he review transcripts and othc interviews relating to site problems. From this type of review the names of certain individuals will consistently appear in the thick of most controversies.

Don stated that some action has already been taken (Ron Tolson is no longer onsite), and other site management moves are planned. He also stated that Messrs. Fikar and Clements have been removed from the TUEC Review Team.
