It allows for a revision cf the en:lesed draf t based on ::ments by you and the review group prior to sending it cut for ACRS, ECD, and inter-cffice review cn January 27.
Our WITS schedule fc forwarcing the repert to the EDO is February 1, so we will be three days early.

The schedule targets the week of March 5 for a Ccm-issicn briefing with the fcilowing v.eek as our second choice, if we brief later than that, time will be otremely short for making any changes required Dy the Comission.
I believ_e the best time for the meeting with Mr. Dircks and Mr. Denton to discuss the feasibility of an open ACRS meeting cr, the report tc be January 26 or January 27, simultaneous with our sending the report out for interoffice review.
I suggest that Bill Olmstead also attend.
ELD has been closely involved in the report preparation and plans for $Losequent r.eetings with cutside groups.
This issue nay be moot,,however.
The attorney assigned to the ACRS indicates that the meeting can be closed ursuant to 10 CFR 9.104(b):
The reeting may be closed "if opening any netting r disclesing any infor ation requested by or testimony or posposals to be given to other agencies of govern-mcnt, including the Congress and the Eyecutive Bra *.:h before the requesting agency would receive the information, testim ny cr proposals."
Please ncte that the schedule shows an ACRS briefing tentatively scheduled for the wcek of Februa ry 21.
We have to schedule the ACRS brie'ing in advance but we can cancel it later if necessary.
