As Secretary of the Ocean Township Taxpayers Association, and in ,

behalf of our President, Charles Otto, and me:nbers of cur Association, I as writing ^,o request permission to speak at said hearing.

I Waratown adjoins and shares Opter Creek where the proposed Unit -

I is scheduled to be erocted alongside the Nuclear Plant currently in

! operation in ' Forked River, i Wc are indeed a very concerned citizenry over the prospects of t

hav$ng not .one - but two - Nuclear Power plants virtua117 in our backyards and it is therefore significantly important to us as taxpsyers of Ocean i .

Township to question what will be done to protect us ecologically and j environmentally.
