This memo is intended to provide information for project managers about the status of this review.
GE has told us (memo Rooney to Coffman dated October 12,1977) that ECCS analysis on which licensees based their justification for less than full loop opert: ion, is now considered no longer valid for that purpose and must be re-done.
GE has also told us that presently this effort does not have top pri-crity with GE, and probably will be completed no sooner than the end of the i
year. Arrangements for reanalysis and the schedule for such reanalysis are r..stters for resolution between GE and the licensees.
No safety censiderations are compromised by continued operation with the pre-sent Tech Specs.
Our completion of this review awaits receipt of corrected ECCS analysis.
