I The Safety Evaluation Report on Monticello, Unit 1 for N-1 Loop Operation dated
[
November 14, 1979 enclosed a technical evaluation by Lawrence Livermore Laboratory /EG&G (Consultant). The consultant has modified the conclusion
^
section of his technical evaluation.
The changes are editorial to emphasize E
that plant specific analysis of ECCS in the single-loop mode of operation, not
[
yet completed by the licensee, will require additional review of the nstru-mentation system.
Our evaluation of November 14, 1979, addressed this concern.
The April 1980 jssue of the consultant's technical evaluation is herewith attached as a replacement for the enclosure to our SER of November 14, 1979 L
for Monticello Unit 1.
