In the Matter of ) Docket Nos. 50-327 Tennessee Valley Authority ) 50-328 SEQUOYAH NUCLEAR PLANT (SQN) - TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION (TS) CHANGE 95-05, COMPONENT LIST DELETION In accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, we.are enclosing a requested amendment to Licenses DPR-77 and DPR-79 to change the TSs of SQN Units 1 and 2.

The proposed changes to the containment system and electrical sections will delete the component lists in accordance with Generic Letter (GL) 91-08, " Removal of Component Lists From Technical Specifications."

Tables 3.6-1, 3.6-2, and 3.8-2 are being relocated to other administrative 1y controlled documents in accordance with the guidance provided in GL 91-08.

The proposed TS change is identified in Enclosure 1. The justification for the proposed TS change is provided in Enclosure 2. A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration performed pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 is provided in Enclosure 3.

Modifications are planned during the upcoming Unit 1 Cycle 7 refueling outage that may affect the list of components in Table 3.8-2.

Accordingly, NRC approval of the proposed TS change is requested in time to support this outage, which is currently scheduled to start on September 9, 1995. We are requesting an implementation period of 60 days from the receipt date of the TS change to allow for procedural changes.
