• CLARIFICATION OF WORK SHIFT DURATIONS FOR OVERTIME LIMITS" l in accordance with 10 CFR 50.90, we are enclosing an amendment to Licenses DPR-77 l and DPR-79 to change the TSs of SON Units 1 and 2. The proposed change clarifies 1 the types of work shifts that are acceptable when considering the requirements to  !

ensure heavy use of overtime is not used routinely by unit staff. The current "8-hour l day" criteria in Section 6.2.2.g will be expanded to include 10- and 12-hour I allowances. In addition, the "40-hour week" criteria will be changed to a " nominal 40-hour week" to provide the necessary flexibility associated with the use of the proposed shift durations.

The proposed TS change is identified in Enclosure 1. The justification for the proposed TS change is provided in Enclosure 2. A proposed determination of no significant hazards consideration performed pursuant to 10 CFR 50.92 is provided in Enclosure 3.

Enclosure 4 provides the revised TS pages as illustrated in Enclosure 1.

TVA requests a 45-day implementation period for this TS change following issuance.
