Dear Mr. Denton:

In reference 1, Attachment B, LILCO provided a brief description of its plan for conducting a " Detailed Control Room Design Review" (DCRDR). In this description, LILCO committed to submit a draft DCRDR Program Plan.

In accordance with the above, enclosed please find fifteen (15) copies of the preliminary DCRDR Program Plan for Shoreham Nuclear Power Station. Necessary steps for implementation of this program are proceeding on a schedule as denoted in Ref. 1, Attachment F, utilizing this preliminary plan as a basis.
