Dear Debra Stuit,
This letter is a follow up to my phone call of 19 Novemter 1990.
I was fired from my job on Feb.1,1990 one day af ter NYPA learned I am disabled (I have eplispy from a car accident in 1987), For the past nine years I worked for the New York Power Authority (NYPA).
I have found that there is a law called the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and that this law would make it a crime for NYPA to fire anyone t+cause they are disablei But the law is only applicalt+ if NYPA has recieved federal iunds, material cf support. el Grants, contf acts ect.
I have hired a lawyer but everthing hinges on proving that NYPA has received iederal iunds,ior this I need help irom your office.
I am requesting that you use the resources of your office to find contracts (or grants) t+ tween NYPA the NRC. If you find that money has been provided to NYPA then I would need documentation of this.
If you can find this information I would use it to force NYPA irdo negotjations to get my job back.

Indian Point-3 NYPA changed it's compty name a few years ago t+ fore the cho.nge it was called The Power Authority of the Stato of New York (PASNY)
NYPA wrote a company mde procedure which called for the hiring and promoting of the handicapped back in 1985. I would guess that they only did this because they had to. 50 I would also guess that there was a grant or contract in around 1964 or 1905, if you find.: contract in 10&4 or 65 then it is possible that the same kind of cormact was repeated in later years.
I think I remetier somthing elled a 'Coorepative Aggrement* with the NRC, you might check that.
