" Proposed Change to the Indian Point State Pollution Discharge Elimination System (SPDES) Permit No. NY0004472
Dear Sir,
in accordance with the Indian Point Technical Specifications, Appendix B, Part 1, Section 3.2, the New Yurk Power Authority and Consolidated Edison hereby transmit to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission a copy of their proposed change to the Indian Point SPDES permit. The proposed change requests permission to add a permitted outfall to the plant as well as change the character of an existing outfall. All activities associated with this request are in support of a vendor supplied water treatment factory to be operated in support of IP3.
There are no commitments being made in this letter. This copy is being transmitted concurrent with its submittal to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
