SUBJECT:

- RESAR SP/90 TECHNICAL REVIEWER SUPPORT DURING UPCOMING :1 ACRS MEETINGS The final safety; evaluation report has been submitted to the Advisory Comittee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS) for review.. The intent is to meet with the:subcomittee on September 20, 1990, to discuss the background of this 1 review'and address any questions raised by the'suucomittee, i An additional meeting with the full comittee will be required to request-their letter _to the Commission related to the RESAR;SP/90. The full comittee j meeting willLtake place on October 4, 5 or 6,1990.  !

Further meeting details will be provided when they are received. 'I am not-anticipating tae need for presentations by any_ staff member other than.myself-for these meetings, however, I _am asking for reviewer support to! address -the many anticipated questions raised by the- ACRS.

The duration of the meetings is uncertain at this time. . I.have asked for a-  !

half day for the subcomittee but_ realistically-anticilate a whole day will be  ;

required. Because of the nature-of this meeting I pro) ably will not be able~  !

to provide a firm hour-by-hour schedule for the meeting.: For your planning; y purposes you should expect that the technical reviewer will-be in attendance- l' for the entire day.
