SUBJECT:
HAYWARD TYLER PUMP t0MPANY INVESTIGATION AND INSPECTION REPORTS Attached is a memo to me from John Collins providing a chronology and explanation of the circumstances regarding the distribution of the subject reports and requesting that the Hayward Tyler investigation and inspection efforts be transferred immediately to 0IE Headquarters.
He also requested that an OIA audit be conducted into the circumstances regarding the transfer of the reports to the pump company attorneys.
I am taking the actions recommended by Mr. Collins.
I am also directing all regions that no draft investigation reports will be given to or reviewed with licensees or their representatives without my specific approval.
