Dear Mr. Ebneter:

In Carolina Power & Light Compaay's Notification of a 10CFR21 Reportable Determination (reference SERIAL: BSEP/87-1205, dated October 30, 1987),

Attachment 4 of the report listed the Unit 1 CR205 series auxiliary cc' tacts which would be replaced with CF.305 series auxiliary contacts or new switchgear by November 30, 1989. To date, this action has been performed with exception of auxiliary contactr. in six o's trical loads affected by the implementation of Plant Modifichtien 86-001. The projected completion date for the field implementation of five of these loads 10-SF-RB, ID-SF-CB, IB-EF-RB, ID-SF-RB, and ID-EF-RB, is January 31, 1990, with the remaining load, E11-F073, scheduled for completion during the next Unit I refueling / maintenance outage.
