BBC Brown Boveri K-Line Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent Trip Device Model OD-4 or OD-5 (10CFR Part 21 Reports)
Dear Mr. DeYoung:
This report'is to supplement the BBC Brown Boveri 10CFR Part 21 Report on the same subject dated May 13, 1985.
Enclosed is a list of additional overcurrent trip devices that were furnished as spare part assemblies and circuit breakers, also furnished as spares, that could have an incorrect short time delay band lever (link) that had been inadvertently installed in the electro-mechanical overcurrent trip devices (Model OD-4 and OD-5 only) manufactured between October, 1983 and March, 1985 These items also require inspection and repincement of the link if it is found to be incorrect. As before, if the correct link (Part Number 707970 K1) is required it can be ordered through the local district office of BBC Brown Boveri at no charge.
BBC Brown Boveri is sending a copy of this report to all Nuclear Stations util-izing K-line circuit breakers in Nucicar and Non-Nuclear applications, since it is recommended that all K-line circuit breakers utilizing the OD-4 or OD-5 and OD-4 or OD-5 spare overcurrent trip assemblies manufactured between October, 1983 and March,1985 be inspected for this reported condition, b
