" Stress Corrosion Cracking of High Hardness Type 410 Stainless Stool Internal Preloaded Bolting in Anchor Darline Model S350W Swinc Check Valves or Valves of Similar Desien" Per paragraph (1) of the reporting requirements section of Bulletin No. 89 02, the NRC requested that addressees who do not have Anchor-Darling Model S350W swing check valves with Type 410 SS bolts subject to this bulletin and do not have valves of similar design with preloaded Type 410 SS bolt material shall within 180 days of receipt of this bulletin provide a letter of confirmation to the NRC of these facts, lil4P has reviewed the swing check valves supplied by Anchor-Darling during the review of IE Notice No. 88-85 and determined that these valves were not the same design as the Model S350W and that type 410 SS preloaded internal bolting materials were not used on the supplied check va'lves, t Further review of valves obtained from other suppliers has indicated that no safety related swing check valves are Anchor Darling Model S350W nor are any safety-related swing check valves designed with internal preloaded type 410 SS bolting materials. Based on the information provided above, IllAP has determined that STPECS does not have safety-related swing check valves subject to this bulletin.
