ST HL-AE 3117 dated June 1,1989 The Facility Operating License for the South Texas Project Electric Generating Station (STPEGS) identified a license condition for physical security to be satisfied by various security upgrades proposed in reference 1 and accepted in STPEGS Safety Evaluation Report Supplement (SSER) 5. The only remaining action is the comparison of the Unit 1'and Unit 2 intrusion detection systems. Reference 2 provided an initial study of data. The attachment provides the final results of the comparison.

The attachment to this letter contains safeguards information as governed by 10CFR73.21 and should be withheld from public disclosure. This cover sheet is decontrolled when the attachment is removed.
