Dear Mr. Cavanaugh:
Your letter of September 28, 1979, stated that the reactor cavity seal ring has been moved away from the annulus cavity area and, therefore, does not
- se a missile hazard. Our resident inspector at Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit No.1 (ANO-1) has verified that the seal ring has been removed from the cavity annulus area and, therefore, no longer consti-tutes a potential missile hazard.
We have concluded that this safety issue has been satisfactorily resolved at ANO-1.
