SUBJECT:
MET-ED'S ENDORSEMENT OF BAW-1564 "ICS RELIABILITY ANALYSIS" On September 13, 1979, I forwarded to you a copy of the B&W operating plant licensees' letters which endorsed the B&W generic repor: "!CS Reliability Analysi s" (BAW-1:564). Tnis package did not include Metropolitan Edison Ccmpany's endorsement.
Enclosed is a copy of a letter I received yesterday frcm Met-Ed which states that they have reviewed the doucment and conclude that it is applicable to TMI-l.
Your request for additional information regarding what licensees' are doing with respect to the report's generic recommendations, was only sent to Met-Ed for information. Now that Met-Ed has endorsed this report, H. Silver will insure that they are sent a similar letter for action. Any future correspondence regarding the report or the results of our review of the report should include Met-Ed as well 6s the other licensees.
